Stealth and lockpick are now skills!

Permissions and credits
Currently these should make Rogue talents (lock pick and stealth) available to everyone by moving the abilities across the GUI to skills, adding the rogue hidden talent to all party members which is required to open locks and creating a new rogue hidden talent tree for the remaining talents so they don't appear for warriors.

Beta versions may have unexpected bugs please report so i can fix, the default file is certainly working on my system those without awakening in the OC may find that the rogue awakening talents show up as blank slots you can just ignore those if the come up. If you do or dont find this id love to know about it..

Update 1.0beta

moves rogue tree so it doesnt appear for warriors with the 4020 hidden rogue talents warriors

made a script to add 4020 (hidden rogue talent) UPON LOAD
if it doesnt work, save reload and rememebr to wait for all the skills to loads

Mod is now in DAZIP format, and doesnt require the console, making it easy for N00Bs and Pro's alike to use...


tested briefly

May end up with blank slots in rogue tree if you dont have awakening in the OC, this is because i have to move the awakening rogue skills to make it awakening compatible, ill upload an OC only version IF people find this happens

Also by request a lockpick only version

skill point progression is same as in the OC so ill also create one which gives you more skill points

PLEASE DO discuss what you would like this mod to be and leave comments praise and constuctive input..

PLEASE DONT tell me this mod doesnt do what it says it does without reading the entire description so that you know what it actully does do...

May conflict with mods that alter the rogue skills

Lock pick and stealth are now skills

rogues now get 1 skill per level and one attribute per 2
net is same number of points, ive provided an optional file without this change.

this is to compensate

why? lockpick and stealth are clearly skills there even marked 1234 and there out of combat abilities, but there rogue skills you might say? well so are poison traps and certainly stealing imo, but take those out and theres hardly any skills left. this is a personal interest but i thought id test the water and see if there was any interest.

whilst anyone can use these skills now, you still suck without a high cunning and who wants that but at least its an option now.

any points in stealth and lockpick will transfer
and transfer back if you change your mind

to use rogue lockpick on a non rogue ull have to console "runscript addtalent 4020"

*note that running this console command will make the rogue tree appear for the warrior but not for the mage. i recommend not taking them, as the simplest solution

*Also note that this 4020 command enables lock picking, trap detection and possibly backstab, tho without the skills these will all suck, suck suck suck..... these abilities are linked in the script and i am working on a scripting solution.

this is to avoid messing around with core scripts, tho i think i could make it auto grant it it would still be much more invasive. I will work on that if there is any demand, i have a beta already but will try a scripted solution first as it may infact be simpler

modifies Cla_data rogue entry and and the abi entry for lockpicking and stealth

i would be very interested to hear peoples opinions, as long as there constructive. this is my first mod, but its very much tested.

it should work with respec mods as it doesnt add any new entries, but you may find it refunds your points in lockpick skill as abilities, if so this is because the respec mod recognises those still as abilities.

Installation:

unzip and drag onto Damodder, else drop it in your overide folder thats document/bioware/packages/overide

Uninstalll

Delete the folder in the overide or if you use damodder or similar uninstall in the usual fashion

if you like runscript removetalent 4020, on the characters you added it to.
