Updated a few minor control issues (speed and reactions, sensitivity etc.)
I searched high and low, far and wide for a way to play this awesome game without being hunched over my micro-keyboard. While it is true that the entire interface and everything else has been specifically designed to suit the keyboard and mouse set-up, there are some benefits to playing with a controller console style - thankful elbows and lower backs mainly.
2 profiles - profile 1 uses a controls system similar to K+M, Profile 2 aims to be more console
Anyway, in case anyone else was looking - here's one I made myself for Xpadder, with an intention of keeping as much extensive control as the original setup as possible
The control set is as follows:
Profile 1 (K+M type control system)
R-stick - moves the mouse arrow
R-stick click - pauses/unpauses the game to activate/deactivate mouse mode (tactical mode)
L-stick - move
L-stick click - area map
D-Pad - hotkeys 1 - 4 clockwise starting with up
action buttons - hotkeys 5 - 8 clockwise starting with Y
LB - tap to skip through team members
RB - toggle run/walk
RT - confirm - mouse button 1
LT - action - mouse button 2 (hold to use in conjunction with R-stick)
back - inventory
start - esc (main menu)
Profile 2 (Console style controls)
Main
L-stick moves playe
L-stick click - area map
R-stick - move camera
R-stick click - pause (no tactical mode)
D-Pad - hotkeys 1 - 4 clockwise starting with up
