I really liked the idea behind the "A Wolf Is A Man's Best Friend" mod by Gogetto (http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=112) but after trying out both the white and black mabari replacers I was unhappy with the appearance of the dogs, especially since his mod disables the Kaddis tattoos.

So this is my own version of same, with file sets that allow you to replace your hound with any of several different colours, and which *do* still have working tattoos.

The hound colours available are:
- white
- black (fixed 2012-09-18 so ears are black, not grey)
- grey
- sealpoint
- Rottweiler (added 2011-07-11)
- German Shepherd (added 2011-07-26)
- Cwn Annwn - Welsh Hellhound (added 2012-09-18)
- Saint Bernard (added 2012-09-18)
- Swiss Mountain Dog (added 2012-09-18)
- Red Brindle (added 2012-09-18)
- Grey Brindle and White (added 2012-09-19)
- Brown Brindle with Blaze (added 2012-09-19)
- Norwegian Elkhound (added 2012-09-20)
- Border Collie (added 2012-09-27)
- Hyena (added 2012-09-27)

You can select and install any one colour, and your dog will change to that colour in game.

Files need to go in your My Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override directory or a sub-directory thereof. I highly recommend a sub-directory, since it makes later removal so much easier if you want to change to a different colour or reset your hound to the default appearance.

Note that this mod will affect the appearance of hounds other then your own, as it modifies textures used by all mabari.
